*This article isn't technically from Feb. 2, '24, but I did begin the 'project' on Feb. 2, '24.
Back in October 2023, I had been watching Death Note, and quickly fell in love with the character L. After completing the show, I found myself reading L's Wikipedia page and though, It'd be so cool if there were someone like L,
before realizing that I could fill that role.
Of course, I'm not perfect and exactly like L, but I thought I could get better over time.
Though, I didn't really know which mystery to begin with until I watched the first episode of MrBallen's Medical Mysteries. So, I looked at said mystery before realizing it had more or less already been debunked.
So, I looked at a different one—the Hinterkaifeck Murders. In hindsight, I should've done a lot more research before claiming to have solved it. Though, everyone has to start somewhere.
Anyway, I spent a couple days researching before posting a very poorly structured and poorly worded video on Feb. 2, '24—the video which 'initiated' this whole thing. By that point, I had already proposed a 'solution' to the Hinterkaifeck Murders but I put off on posting the video—which I also had already finished. Looking back, I'm very ashamed about not putting more time into researching it—it remains one of my least-proudest videos.
Either way, I picked a cool letter because I had no other ideas, and here we are today.
